Roy Rogers (Choctaw), was the first inductee into the American Indian Entertainers Museum And Hall of Fame. He was given a "Honor Dance" from native Americans of the region and received the "Eagle Spirit" Award from the Museum/Hall of Fame. He was also made a honorary Chief of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma by Chief Greg Pyle.
